These striking, new editions to the Lanikai Custom Series offers gorgeous woods with exotic figuring and highly contrasting tones due to special construction techniques and a meticulous process used for selection of tone woods.
The Designer Series of Lanikai ukes offer the player a combination of amazing tonewoods, high-end appointments, and superior build quality. The LCD-C is a concert size uke with extraordinary custom appointments, including a “tree of life” Abalone inlaid fretboard, Abalone purfling, and Gold Vintage-style tuners. The Rosewood back and Sides are mated to a SOLID Cedar top for the ultimate of tone!
The LSM ukes are custom-made of all SOLID Mahogany (Top/Back/Sides), with an Ebony fretboard. The all-mahogany construction results in amazing projection and a well-balanced tone.

Used to make ukuleles for over a century, rare Hawaiian koa wood is especially prized for its distinctive curly grain. Grown mostly on the big island of Oahu, the gorgeous red-hued wood used for Lanikai’s Curly Koa Series make these ukuleles look as beautiful as they sound.
Our "O" Series of ukuleles feature Ovangkol backs and sides, providing a round and even tone. The "S" Series ukuleles feature Mahogany backs and sides. Both the "O" and "S" series instruments feature a solid Spruce top, resulting in incredible tone, volume and projection.
